Running Production workloads on Postgres Operators in Kubernetes

Rejo has over a decade of Industry experience across Telecom and Retail and has primarily championed Database engineering for most of his career. He is currently working with Lowes (one of the biggest Home retailers in the world). He is passionate about creating innovative database capabilities at enterprise scale and has been one of the key contributors to the transformation journey of companies like Lowes and Target with Open-source. He has architected and built efficient DB landscapes ingrained with self-service and automation capabilities.
Kubernetes has been adopted by a lot of companies over the last few years and running databases on Kubernetes has been evaluated by many of them. In this talk we will be sharing experiences of how at Lowe's we adopted the operator Journey, architected and are successfully running over 500+ Postgres Instances on Kubernetes over the last 2 years with some of the DB sizes at over a TB.
