Several large enterprise customers need to get database users with their actions audited and notified in near realtime for suspicious database activity for corrective action is of prime importance.

A custom audit solution was developed to track the suspicious activities like granting/revoking un-authorised access role/privileges by particular user(s). This solution further extends the capability to notify the required stakeholders for corrective action in reasonable time window. Since, this being a generic solution using PostgreSQL native extension of pgaudit and open source log parsing tool gives the edge of implementing this solution across other customers with similar use-cases.
