Sujit is the Director of engineering for Azure Database for PostgreSQL. In his role, he leads engineering efforts to deliver a fully managed PostgreSQL experience for customers with investments in PostgreSQL scale out, advancing autonomous database capabilities, enabling cross-region replication and more. Previously, he led engineering for Cosmos DB, contributing to the development of Microsoft’s globally distributed NoSQL database. With deep expertise in building highly scalable, multi-tenant distributed systems, cloud services, and virtualization, Sujit is passionate about driving innovation in cloud-native database technologies.
