Microsoft is investing a lot in Postgres—including in the Postgres core, Citus open source, Patroni, PgBouncer, pgcopydb, pg_cron, & more Postgres extensions. And Microsoft offers two Azure managed services for PostgreSQL, one is regular and one is distributed Postgres built on Citus.
